All users agree to be bound by this Message Board Policy and the ELCA Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
The ELCA message board site is a family-oriented online community. Do not post any messages or upload any files that contain profanity, obscenities, or threatening or offensive language.
We reserve the right (but not the responsibility) to remove any messages which, in our opinion, violates or infringes upon the rights of any other person.
Real names are preferred when using ELCA's online community features. We believe the candid nature of our community helps keep it free from inappropriate material. Always use caution and common sense when placing personal information anywhere on the Internet, including the ELCA Web site.
Any problems, suggestions or concerns about the ELCA message boards or other areas of
ELCA's Web site should be directed to info@elca.org for immediate
response, rather than using the public message boards. This will ensure the most prompt
reply.
We do not allow any form of commercial advertising in the ELCA message boards. Do not
advertise your personal business products or services on ELCA's message boards.
No solicitation is allowed. For example, do not send direct mail marketing materials or
other advertisements to those using the message boards.
Do not conduct fund-raising activities on ELCA's message boards.
Do not post time-sensitive messages on the ELCA message boards. Regular access by
others cannot be guaranteed.
ELCA's message boards are intended to encourage open discussion and sharing of ideas in
a safe, family-oriented environment. Please assist us in maintaining ELCA's message boards
as an open and happy atmosphere for all.
Your suggestions and comments about ELCA's Web site are encouraged and necessary for
its growth. Please direct them to info@elca.org.
